On Monday I say goodbye to my very great friend who I have known for over 50 years . This was from karate as my brilliant instructor then  to being my close friend and enjoying life when together . I will always have him in my thoughts remembering the wondeful training often followed by a beer and a curry. He was very much part of my family and was loved by all of them .It was terrible not being able to see him after February but I did speak to him in hospital . On our last conversation on the Sunday before he passed on I was so pleased he knew who I was and will always remember that. So rest in peace Micheal.
