The Lodge first met W.Bro. Michael when he became our Visiting Officer representing The Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London on 14th September 2011 at the meeting celebrating our 75th Anniversary.
It soon became apparent that W.Bro.Michael was an easy person to get along with and soon became a welcome visitor to our meetings.
Whilst acting as our Visiting Officer he actively assisted several Brethren in achieving honours to Senior London Grand Rank and London Grand Rank.
After W.Bro. Michael completed his tour as Visiting Officer he joined the Lodge on 2nd February 2016 much to the pleasure of the Brethren. He was an active member of the Lodge and regularly attended our meetings and introduced new people to us.
It is with great sadness that we learnt of his passing of to the Grand Lodge above. He was much liked and will be sorely missed.
May the Great Architect of the Universe now look after him and keep him safe.
At the behest of W.Bro. Michael and in his honour the Lodge will be making a donation to “The Royal Masonic Trust For Girls and Boys”.
